Currently we live in a time dominated by the look, we are part of a visual intone where reigns the power of images (visual culture) dimension in which we see reflected our aspirations and especially our reality.
Glances equality: gender, disability and violence, is a project of initial training approach photograph, aimed at contributing towards a society free of violence, gender equality and inclusive of Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
This project, part of having an educational base, aims to boost the photographic expression of PCD, women and youth in situations of violence, while creating new spaces of expression and own artistic display of force participation, promoting the cultural development of these vulnerable sectors.
Glances Equal contemplates the realization of three different workshops introduction to photography, one focused on PCD (motor and intellectual), one aimed at women in general concerned to develop in the field of photography, and finally a youth-oriented workshop violent situation.
