A weekend of self-discovery and liberation: physical detoxification using the wisdom of Ayurveda medicine, kriya yoga; silent meditation and the incredible experience of Chidshakti Prakriya to release the spirit.

Program 

We will start meditating and closing the door of the sound voice to hear the voice within; guided by the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga we will remove toxins renewing the digestive system.
 
Guided Meditations and ChidShakti prakriya to detoxify the soul; while enjoying nature walks, conscious and breathing exercise our connection with the universe.

Instructors

Cristina Ponce

She has a degree in Education with honors from the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. She has studied many graduates to deepen the knowledge and understanding of human beings, including: addictions, Emotional Intelligence, Human Development and Leadership.

Her Yoga practice began in July 2001, one year after started to share her love and passion for Yoga through teaching. In 2005 she travels to Bali, Indonesia where attended an immersion program “Bodichitta Yoga Teachers Training”, she is certified as a teacher of Yoga for children and families by Rainbow Kids Yoga Teachers Training and Yoga couples by Sun Moon Partner Yoga Teacher Training.

She is also therapist System Harmonization with Quartz Crystal Bowls, Reiki and Thetahealing.
 
She is director of Uma Yoga Sanctuary studio she founded in 2011 with the intention of contributing to the human development of people supporting them to live a healthy, happy and fulfilling life through self-knowledge, recognition of its essence and reunion with his power inside.
 
Currently in addition to yoga classes, researches and practices as Transformational Breathing facilitator, finding in this tool a way to continue her personal growth and accompany others on their path of self-discovery.

Beatriz Juárez

From Mexico City, lived in Baja from 2002 and now recently moved to Puerto Morelos the heart of Riviera Maya; she has been practicing yoga since childhood. In 2012 after a couple of years of really bad health decided to use yoga to heal her body and from there started the path as yoga therapist and teacher.  Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science and Research in India is her alma mater, learning from the source with Ayurveda doctors, doctors in yoga therapy, meditation, hatha yoga and yoga philosophy was the greatest experience,  guide people to the self-healing path, using Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy.  Certified member of Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapy among other Indian and International yoga associations.
 
As a healer she had experienced the magic of yoga, diagnosed with fibromyalgia after a year of treatment reduced medication intake and years later able to live a full life and almost all the time without medication; only yoga.  A living proof that yoga improves your health and she would love to share how you can do it too.
 
Experience in several cases through personal and group therapy, using yoga to support patients with chronic pain, posture problems, back, joints in general. Support groups for women survivors of sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, emotional problems; always with the aim of guiding in the pursuit of balance and self-healing.
 
Creative workshops for various themes and objectives, using yoga as a tool for balance: “Yoga and Ayurveda”, “Healing energy system“, “Yoga for Menopause”, “Techniques Workshop for the awakening of consciousness” Basic Certificiación in Yoga Therapy, some works presented in Loreto, Los Cabos, Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende.

Rancho Los Naranjos

Tsegyalgar West / Los Naranjos is a Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen (Great Perfection) Retreat Center and Eco-Reserve in the San Jose del Cabo Mountains. Its located in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
 
Offers a variety of opportunities for those wishing to visit, stay, attend a retreat, it is also an excellent place to explore a tropical drylands ecological system, and learn about the plants and animals of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains.

Lodgings

We offer casitas –individual, double, and that sleep up to four people

Lodging includes tent camping, single casita, and shared (dorm) casita.
Filtered spring water is provided for drinking. 
There is  internet in the office for emergencies only. 
All toilets are composting. 
Four casitas have indoor compost toilets otherwise bathrooms are shared. 
All casitas have showers, some with hot water; and there are  shared bathrooms with hot showers.
Full payment is required to select the kind of casita you will be staying.

Food

First day, to manage the Ayurveda detox, we will start with a soft diet to prepare for purification of the digestive system.
Second day, Ayurveda detox and after, special food for the recovery of the digestive system.
Third day, soft and vegetarian diet to re-start the digestive system.

  • 4 practices of guided yoga (kriya, hatha and therapy)

How to get there

Tsegyalgar West is located north of the airport about 40 minutes from the airport to the gar, of which half on a main road and the other half on a bumpy dirt road that goes inland up the mountain.

 
 1. From the airport, drive to the main highway, Carretera Transpeninsular  #1 toward the East Cape and ‘Los Barrilles’.
 
2.  Drive thru the little town of Santa Anita on your right.
 
3.  Watch the kilometer markers and look for km54.
 
4. At km 54, turn left onto a straight, long dirt road going inland.  Coming from the south our road has a Presa La Palma sign for the new San Jose reservoir/dam. 
 
5. You will see the sign  Rastro ITF ( Matadero de vacas) on the right. Keep going, approximately 10 miles or 13 kilometers on a dirt road.
 
6. The dirt road will begin to curve down and around a large dry riverbed. Cross it and keep going another 20 minutes.  Stay on the left,  there is a shrine/altar on the left side of the road  and a low dip where a normal car may drag. Cross it and keep going.
 
7.  Keep going until you see the painted rock and a metal gate for Tsegyalgar West. Open the gate and go up the driveway to a wood cattle gate. Open it, drive thru, and close it behind you please.
 
8. You will see a sign on the right : Camping Showers/duchas. Drive past it and park on the roadside. Walk a few hundred feet to the palapa-covered kitchen on the left. On the way there, you will see a bell hanging from a tree, ring it, then walk to the reception area to wait. WELCOME!
