Just north of downtown Los Barriles you will find the neighborhood of Colina del Sol who will be hosting the Holiday Art Show presented by Asociacion de Artes del Mar de Cortez. The event on December 1st from 10am - 3pm will feature local artists selling their original work from water color, oil or acrylic paintings, photography, jewelry, wood and glass works, ceramic, fabric art, clothing, art to eat, art from nature, cards and many more mediums. And just intime for the holiday giving season!
Set on the grounds of the Club House, the setting is lovely, and a great place to meet with friends. There is also food from local restaurants and a beer garden with a shaded place to stay and enjoy your meal and drinks. The show has become a meeting place for friends for breakfast or lunch.
We will also be having a raffle with baskets stuffed with certificates, gift idems and things to eat - each basket with a value of many hundreds of dollars. The raffle and silent auction is a major fund raiser for the Asociacion and the funds raised from this event goes directly to purchase school and art supplies for 19 East Cape Area schools.
